How do I find and reopen my past Ask Alori chats?
Click the clock in Ask Alori to see Past chats. Click one to pick up where you left off, or rename or delete it.
Ask Alori keeps every chat you have with it. Click the clock (Past chats) at the top of Ask Alori to see them, newest first, and click one to pick up where you left off.
Also called: chat history, conversation history, old chats, previous conversations, historique, conversations passées, anciennes conversations
Step 1: Open your past chats
Open Ask Alori, then click the clock at the top (Past chats). Your chats are listed under Today, Yesterday, Previous 7 days, Previous 30 days and Older. Each one is named after the first thing you asked.
Click: Ask Alori › Past chats
Step 2: Reopen a chat
Click a chat to open it. You see the whole conversation, and anything you ask next continues it, so Alori remembers what you talked about. Click the arrow (Back to the chat) to go back without opening one.
Click: Past chats › a chat
Step 3: Rename or delete a chat
Point at a chat in the list, then click the pencil (Rename), type a new name and press Enter. Press Escape to keep the old name. To remove a chat for good, click the bin (Delete), then Delete again. Its messages, pictures and files are deleted too. On a phone, the pencil and the bin are always showing.
Click: Past chats › Rename or Delete
Good to know
Click New chat (the pen) to start fresh. The chat you were in stays in Past chats.
A new chat shows up in the list once you ask your first question.
Your chats are private: only you see them, on any computer or phone where you sign in.
While Alori is still answering, wait for the answer before you switch chats.
If it doesn't work
I don't see the clock. It shows once you have at least one chat. Ask something first. If you still don't see it, your app may be on an older version: the owner can upgrade it, see How do I upgrade my app to the newest Alori features?.
A chat I had before is missing. A deleted chat can't come back.
