How do I paste a list of customers into Alori?

Open Ask Alori, type "Add these customers:" and paste your list, even a messy one. Alori adds them right away, with an Undo.

Updated October 22, 2026

Open Ask Alori in your team app, type "Add these customers:" and paste your list. It can be messy: names, phones, emails and addresses in any order. Alori sorts it out and adds the customers.

Also called: bulk add, add many customers, copy paste contacts, customer list, ajouter des clients, coller une liste, liste de clients

This is the quickest way for a short list from an email, a note or a spreadsheet. For a big file, use the API (see How do I import data with the API?) or move from HubSpot (see How do I move from HubSpot to Alori?).

Step 1: Open Ask Alori

If your customer list is still empty, the Customers page shows Tell Alori. Click Open the assistant: the box already says "Add these customers: ". Otherwise, click Ask Alori in the side menu, or press ⌘J (Ctrl J on Windows).

Click: Customers › Open the assistant

Step 2: Paste your list and send

Paste your list after "Add these customers: ", then press Enter. A table copied from a web page or a spreadsheet works too: Alori keeps its rows and links.

Click: Ask Alori › Send

Step 3: Check what Alori added

Alori shows each customer it adds. The changes happen right away, with an Undo button if something is wrong. Open Customers to see them.

Click: Customers

Good to know

  • To add a list of people as deals instead, say so: "Add these as deals". Alori adds up to 60 at once on one pipeline. Someone already in your app is reused, and someone who already has a deal on that pipeline is skipped.

  • For a list of people your team will reach out to, say it's a prospect list. They come in as outbound leads and stay off the customer list until they become deals.

  • Extra details on each row, like a LinkedIn link, are kept as a note on the customer.

If it doesn't work

  • Some people are missing. Paste the missing rows again in a new message. For a very long list, send it in a few parts.

  • A customer came in twice. Merge them. See How do I merge duplicate customers?
