- How do I change my app by talking to Alori?Type what you want in the chat, in your own words, and press Send. Alori changes your preview; your team sees it when you publish.
- Build, Ask or Plan: which mode should I use?Build changes your app. Ask answers a question and changes nothing. Plan asks you a few questions, shows a plan, and builds it when you click Execute plan.
- How do I point at something on the screen to change it?Click the pointer button under the chat box, click the thing in the preview, then type what to change. Press Esc to cancel.
- How do I add pictures to my request?Click Add images, drag pictures onto the chat, or paste them. Up to 4 PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP images per message, each under 5 MB.
- How do I speak my request instead of typing?Click the microphone in the chat box and talk. Your words appear in the box; click the microphone again to stop, then press Send.
- Can I send several requests in a row?Yes. While Alori works, send your next request and it waits in line. Requests run one at a time, in order, and you can remove your own.
- How do I stop a change?Click Stop while Alori works. If nothing was used yet you see "Stopped. Nothing was charged."; otherwise only the work so far is charged.
- My change didn't work: how do I fix it?Click Fix this when the preview says something isn't working, or tell Alori what's wrong in the chat. A change that fails and modifies nothing is free.
- How much does a change cost?A typical change costs about one credit, sometimes a fraction; bigger ones cost more. A failed change that modified nothing is free.
- How do I preview my app on a phone or a computer?Use the Computer and Phone buttons above the preview to switch screen size, pick a page in Page to preview, and click Live app to open your real app.
- Is the preview using my real data?Yes. The preview and your live app share one set of real data. A quote you send from the preview really goes out. Only new screens wait for Publish.
- How do I upgrade my app to the newest Alori features?Click Upgrade above the preview, then Upgrade my app. Alori brings in the new features and keeps your own changes. It uses credits, like a change.
