How do I stop a change?

Click Stop while Alori works. If nothing was used yet you see "Stopped. Nothing was charged."; otherwise only the work so far is charged.

Updated October 22, 2026

Click Stop while Alori is working. Alori stops at its next check, which can take a few seconds, and your app stays as it was before the change. You only pay for the work already done, and if none was done you see "Stopped. Nothing was charged."

Also called: cancel, stop, abort, halt a change, arrêter, annuler, stopper

Step 1: Click Stop

While Alori works, a Stop button shows in the chat, next to the progress and at the bottom of the chat box. Click it. It changes to Stopping… until Alori ends.

Click: Stop

Step 2: Read the result

Alori replies with one of these:

  • "Stopped. Nothing was charged." Alori hadn't used any credits yet.

  • "Stopped. 2 credits were used for the work so far." (the number changes) You pay for what was already done, nothing more.

While Alori works, you can watch the count, for example "1 credit so far", to decide whether to stop.

Click: nothing, read the reply

Step 3: Check your app

A stopped change isn't saved. If Alori had already started putting part of it online, it puts your saved version back on its own, so nothing is left half done. Your preview stays as it was.

Click: Preview

Good to know

  • Stop only stops the change that's running. Requests waiting in line still start after. To drop one, click its X in the line.

  • Already saved a change you don't want? Open History and restore an earlier version instead.

If it doesn't work

  • It still says Stopping… after a few seconds. Alori is finishing the step it's on. Wait a moment; it stops at the next check.

  • There's no Stop button. Nothing is running right now, so there's nothing to stop.
