How do I connect GitHub or Google Search Console?
Click Connect on GitHub or Google Search Console in Connectors. Your bot can then change your code or tell you how your website does in Google.
Click Connect on GitHub or Google Search Console in Connectors and sign in. Then ask your bot: it can change your code with a pull request, or tell you how your website does in Google.
Also called: GitHub, code, pull request, Search Console, Google ranking, SEO, website traffic, référencement, code source
There's nothing to turn on in your app afterwards: your bot uses the connection right away.
Step 1: Connect the tool
In the menu on the left, click Connectors. Click Connect on GitHub (under Productivity) or Google Search Console (under Marketing). Sign in and allow Alori. Back in Alori, the card says "Connected to" and the account name.
You can also click Connect on the card your bot shows when you ask it something that needs one of them.
Click: Connectors › Connect
Step 2: Ask your bot
Open Bots and ask in your own words, or ask in Slack, Discord or by text.
GitHub: "fix the typo on the pricing page". The bot opens a pull request for your team to review. It merges it, or pushes straight to your main branch, only when you ask.
Google Search Console: "how is my website doing in Google?". It tells you searches, clicks and pages Google missed, and why a page isn't in Google. You can also ask in your Chat.
Click: Bots
Good to know
The bot uses the access of the person who connected. On GitHub, it sees and changes only what that person can.
Search Console is read-only. Alori never changes anything in it.
Search Console has its own Google sign-in. Disconnecting it doesn't touch your Gmail or Google Calendar.
You and your office team can use these with the bot. Teammates with the team level can't.
Not on a phone call: ask by chat, text, Slack or Discord.
If it doesn't work
"… could not connect. Try again." Click Connect again and allow what GitHub or Google asks for.
"Not configured on this deployment yet." That tool isn't ready on Alori's side yet. Contact support.
The card says "Needs reconnect". See What do I do when a connector says "Needs reconnect"?
