How do I log a call, visit or note?

Open the customer, click the Activity tab, pick Note, Call or Visit, write what happened, then click Add the note or Add.

Updated October 22, 2026

Open the customer and click the Activity tab. Pick Note, Call or Visit, write what happened, then click Add the note (for a note) or Add. It shows at the top of the customer's activity, with your name and the time.

Also called: log activity, call log, visit report, add a note, internal note, journal, consigner un appel, note interne, ajouter une note, visite

Step 1: Open the customer's activity

Open Customers, click the customer, then click the Activity tab.

Click: Customers › the customer › Activity

Step 2: Pick what you're logging

At the top of the activity, pick Note, Call or Visit. You can also pick Email or Text: with Conversations, that writes to the customer; without it, it logs one you sent yourself.

Click: Activity › Note, Call or Visit

Step 3: Write it and add it

  • Note: write in Write a note for the team… and click Add the note. The customer never sees notes. Type @ and a teammate's name to tell them.

  • Call or Visit: write in Log a call, a visit, a detail… and click Add. Press ⌘ Enter (Ctrl Enter) to add it from the keyboard.

Click: Add the note or Add

Good to know

  • Calls made from the app are logged on their own, with the recording and Alori's summary when there is one.

  • Emails, texts, quotes, jobs and invoices show in the same activity, newest first.

  • On a deal's page, use the buttons above the history: Note, Call, Email, Text, Task or Meeting.

  • To remove something you logged, use its delete button and confirm Delete this?.

  • Ask Alori can add a note too: "Note for Julie on the Gagnon file: call back Friday".

If it doesn't work

  • "Write something first." The box is empty. Write what happened, then add it.

  • No box at the top of the activity. Your role can view customers but not change them.

  • A name in the @ list says Can't see customers. That teammate's role can't see customers, so they can't read the note. Ask the owner to change their role.

  • No @ list when you type @. You're the only one on the team so far.
