How do notifications work, and how do I choose them?
The bell at the top shows mentions, tasks and conversations given to you. Click My notifications to get them in the app, by email, or both.
The bell at the top of your team app tells you when someone mentions you, gives you a task or a conversation, or when a task is due today. Click My notifications at the bottom of the list to choose to get them In the app, By email, or both.

Step 1: Open the bell
Click the bell at the top right. A number on it shows how many you haven't read yet. Each line says who did what, and when.
Click: Notifications
Step 2: Open one
Click a line. It's marked read, and you go straight to the conversation, the task or the person it's about. To clear them all, click Mark all read.

Step 3: Answer a task right there
When someone gives you a task, the line has two buttons. Click Got it to take it. Click Can't do it to open the task and say why.

Step 4: Choose how you get them
At the bottom of the list, click My notifications. Turn In the app and By email on or off. It saves right away and says Saved.

What you get notified about
Someone wrote you a note with @ and your name.
Someone gave you a conversation or a task, or mentioned you on a task.
Your tasks due today.
A website chat needs you.
Time off asked for or answered, and an employee's card that is expiring.
New mentions and new tasks also pop up at the bottom of the screen while the app is open, with an Open button.
Good to know
By email is only for mentions, and only when you haven't seen them in the app after 5 minutes.
Opening the customer's activity counts as seeing their notes.
Your choice is yours alone. Each teammate picks their own.
If it doesn't work
"Nothing for you yet." Nobody has mentioned you or given you a task yet.
No bell at the top. The bell shows when your app has customers, tasks or employees and you're signed in.
No emails come. Open My notifications and check that By email is on. Look in your spam folder too.
