How does my customer accept and sign a quote online?
Your customer opens the link in the quote email, types their name, signs with a finger or mouse and clicks Accept and sign. The quote turns Accepted.
When you email a quote, your customer gets their own link. They open it, type their name, sign with a finger or mouse and click Accept and sign. The quote turns Accepted right away, and you get an email.
Also called: e-signature, sign online, approve a quote, customer approval, signer la soumission, accepter en ligne, signature électronique
Step 1: Your customer opens the link
In the quote email, your customer clicks the link. The page shows your business, the quote number, each line, the taxes and the total. It works on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install.
Step 2: They sign
Under Accept this quote, they type Your full name and sign in the box that says Sign here with your finger or mouse. Clear erases the signature to start again. The page reminds them: "By signing, I accept this quote and its prices."
Step 3: They click Accept and sign
They click Accept and sign. The page then says it was accepted, with their name and the date, and that you'll contact them to set a date.
Step 4: You see it in your app
The quote turns Accepted. Its page shows "Accepted online by" with the name, the date and the signature. A note is added to the customer's record, and you get an email. The quote is now ready to schedule as a job.
