What are credits?

Credits pay for what costs money in Alori, like AI, texts, calls and hosting. One credit costs $0.30 USD, less on a plan.

Updated October 22, 2026

Credits are how you pay for the parts of Alori that cost money to run: the AI, texts, calls, emails, video meetings and hosting your app. You buy them once, or get a set amount every month on a plan, and Alori takes a little each time you use something.

Also called: credit, credits, balance, tokens, crédit, crédits, solde

What a credit costs

  • Buying credits: $0.30 USD per credit. There is no volume discount, so 100 credits are $30 and 1,000 credits are $300.

  • On Solo: from $99 a month for 375 credits, about $0.264 a credit.

  • On Business: from $249 a month for 1,000 credits, about $0.249 a credit.

How credits are counted

  • Each thing you use takes the credits it costs. Small things take a fraction of a credit: one email is 0.01 credit.

  • Amounts are rounded up to the hundredth of a credit, so you may see numbers like 0.15 or 1.12.

  • AI work (a change to your app in the chat, a Chat reply, a bot reply) takes credits based on how much AI work it needed, so the amount changes from one request to the next.

Where you see your credits

Your balance shows at the bottom of the left menu, under Credits left. Click it to open Billing, where the Credits card shows how many you have left.

Your first credits

Every new account starts with 10 free credits, shown as Welcome credits in your credit history. No card is needed.

If it doesn't work

  • "You're out of credits." Your balance is at 0 or under. Click Add credits to keep going.

  • Your balance looks lower than you expected. Open See credit history on the Billing page to see every credit used, with the date and the project.
