How do I bring my current number to Alori?
In Phone system › Numbers, click Bring a number you already have, type your numbers, add your account number and a recent bill, then send the request.
Open Phone system, go to Numbers and click Bring a number you already have. Type your numbers, add your Account number and a Recent bill from your current provider, check the details and click Send the move request. Customers keep calling the same number.
Also called: port my number, number porting, transfer my number, keep my number, move from Aircall, port-in, transférer mon numéro, portabilité, garder mon numéro
Your current provider keeps working until the move is done, usually in one to two weeks.
Step 1: Start the move
Click Phone system, then Numbers, then Bring a number you already have.
Click: Phone system › Numbers › Bring a number you already have
Step 2: Type your numbers
Under Numbers to move, type each number on its own line. Alori checks each one ("Checking your numbers…") and shows what happens to it, like Can move.
Step 3: Add what's on your bill
Under From your current provider, type your Account number, a PIN if one is asked, and add a Recent bill (PDF, PNG or JPG, up to 10 MB) that shows the name and address of the account.
Step 4: Check the details and send
Alori fills in the account for you in one line: the name, who signs, their email, the address and the date. Click Change to fix them. Name on the account must be exactly as your current provider has it. Move on must be at least a week out. Click Send the move request.
Click: Change › Send the move request
Step 5: Sign the authorization
You see "Sent. Check the signer's email for the authorization." The signer gets an email to sign. The move then shows under Moves.
Good to know
Keep your old provider until the move shows Done, then cancel the numbers there.
Moved numbers take calls only. Texts stay on your business number.
A number Already on Twilio (common from Aircall) is moved by our team: click Move it, and you see "Got it. Our team takes it from here."
Alori keeps no PIN, account number or bill.
