How do I fill a database column with AI?

Add a column, pick AI autofill, choose a summary, keywords, a translation or your own prompt, then click Create. AI fills every row and keeps it up to date.

Updated October 26, 2026

Add a column of type AI autofill. AI writes each row's cell from that row, like a short summary of a visit, and writes it again when the row's words change.

Also called: AI autofill, AI column, autofill, AI property, remplissage IA, colonne IA

Step 1: Add the column

Click + at the end of the column titles, type a name, then pick AI autofill.

Click: + › AI autofill

Step 2: Say what each row gets

Under Fill each row with, pick A summary, Keywords, A translation (then the language under Into) or Custom prompt, and type your prompt, like "Which equipment does this visit need?". Click Create.

Click: Fill each row with › A summary › Create

Step 3: Let it work

AI fills every row, one after the other. A new row, or a row whose words change, is filled again by itself. To fill them all again now, click the column's title, then Update all rows. Rows that didn't change cost nothing.

Click: column title › Update all rows

Good to know

  • Each cell AI writes uses Alori credits.

  • AI reads rows as the person who set the column up: it never puts words from a page that person can't open in a cell.

  • The cell is read only: change the prompt in the column's menu instead.

If it doesn't work

  • Cells stay empty: the account may be out of credits. Once credits are added, click Update all rows.
