How do I turn off my assistant's computer?
Open your private computer and click Turn off, or tell your assistant to turn it off. Your sign-ins are saved.
Open your private computer and click Turn off, or just tell your assistant "turn off your computer". You stay signed in to your sites: they're saved, and the computer turns on again the next time your assistant needs it.

Step 1: Open your private computer
On your personal assistant, click the screen icon at the top to open Your private computer beside the chat.
Click: Bots › your personal assistant › Your private computer
Step 2: Click Turn off
Click the power icon (Turn off) at the top of the computer, next to Take over or Give back. It spins while it saves your sign-ins, which can take up to a minute, then shows My computer is off. It turns on when I need it.
If your assistant was in the middle of something, it stops. A step that was waiting for your yes is dropped: ask again when you want it done.

In the chat, say "turn off your computer". Your assistant turns it off and tells you.
Do I have to turn it off?
No. It goes to sleep by itself after 30 minutes without use, or after 2 hours when a step is waiting for you. Turning it off sooner only stops it right away. You pay only for the minutes it's on.
If it doesn't work
"The computer didn't turn off. Try again." Click Turn off again. If it still doesn't work, it goes to sleep by itself within 30 minutes.
