On Customers, tick customers, click Tag and pick or type a tag. Use Filter by tag to see only those customers. Rename or delete tags in Settings.

Updated October 22, 2026

Tags are short labels you put on customers, like "Commercial" or "VIP". On Customers, tick the customers, click Tag and pick a tag or type a new one. Then use Filter by tag to see only the customers who have it.

Also called: labels, categories, groups, segments, étiquettes, catégories, groupes, étiqueter

Step 1: Pick the customers

Open Customers and tick the box at the start of each customer you want to tag. On a phone, tap Select first. A bar shows how many are selected.

Click: Customers › the boxes

Step 2: Tag them

In the selection bar, click Tag. Tick a tag to put it on every customer you picked, or untick it to take it off. To make a new tag, type its name in New tag and click the +.

Click: Tag › a tag

Step 3: Show only one tag

Above the list, click Filter by tag and tick one or more tags. The button then says Tag: with their names. Click Clear the filter to see everyone again.

Click: Filter by tag › a tag

Step 4: Rename or delete a tag

Click Filter by tag, then Manage tags in Settings. Next to Tags, click Edit. Change a name and click Save, or delete a tag. When you're done, click Done.

Click: Filter by tag › Manage tags in Settings › Edit

Good to know

  • On one customer's record, the Tags line is in the More details card. Click it to add or remove tags there.

  • Renaming a tag changes it on every customer who has it.

  • Deleting a tag takes it off every customer. The question before it says how many have it.

  • Anyone who can edit customers can add tags. Renaming and deleting need access to Settings.

If it doesn't work

  • "No tags yet. Type a name to add the first one." Type a name in New tag and click +.

  • "Another tag already has this name." Pick another name, or use the tag you already have.

  • No Manage tags in Settings line. Your role can't change settings. Ask the owner.
