Pictures make a how-to easy to follow: add one for each step.

Step 1: Open the article

In your workspace, open Customers help center, open the article and click Edit article. For a new one, see How do I write a help center article?

Click: the article › Edit article

Step 2: Add a picture

Click in the text where the picture goes, then click Picture and pick a file. You can also paste a screenshot, or drag a picture from your computer into the text. Uploading… shows until it's in.

Click: Picture

Step 3: Add a video

Click Video, paste a YouTube, Vimeo or Loom link and click Add. To use a video file instead, click Upload a video. Pasting a video link straight into the text works too.

Click: Video › Add

Step 4: Save

Click Save. Pictures and videos show in the article on your website.

Good to know

  • Sizes: pictures up to 10 MB (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP), videos up to 200 MB (MP4, WebM, MOV).

  • Imported articles keep their pictures. Import from a link saves them in your help center, so they keep showing even if the original page goes away.

If it doesn't work

  • "That file is too big: pictures up to 10 MB, videos up to 200 MB." Use a smaller file. For a long video, put it on YouTube and paste the link.

  • "Use a picture (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP) or a video (MP4, WebM, MOV)." Save the file in one of those types.

  • "That link isn't a video from YouTube, Vimeo or Loom." Copy the video's own link from one of those sites.

  • "That didn't upload. Try again." Try again in a moment.
