How do I organize sections and order articles?

Open Customers help center, click Settings, then Order. Drag sections and articles into place, or drop an article in another section. It saves at once.

Updated October 22, 2026

Open Customers help center in your workspace, click Settings, then Order. Drag sections and articles into the order you want. Drop an article in another section to move it there. Each move saves at once.

Also called: collections, categories, sort, reorder, move an article, sections, catégories, réorganiser, déplacer un article

On your help center's pages, sections are called collections. They're the same thing.

Step 1: Add a section

In the preview of Customers help center, click New collection on the home page. Type a Name and a Short description, then click Save. It's added last. Alori writes it in your app's other language by itself.

To rename one, open it and click Edit collection.

Click: New collection › Save

Step 2: Open Order

Click Settings at the top of the preview, then the Order tab. You see each section with its articles, in the order customers see them. Articles in no section show under Other articles, last.

Click: Settings › Order

Step 3: Drag into place

Drag a section by its handle to move it up or down, or use its arrows. Drag an article within its section, or drop it in another section to move it there. On an article, the Move to menu sends it to another section in one click.

Click: Settings › Order › drag

Good to know

  • Drafts show in the list with Draft. Customers don't see them until they're published.

  • On the home page, you can also drag the collection cards in the preview: "Drag to change the order. It saves by itself."

  • From an article, click Collection above it and pick another one, or No collection.

  • Ask Alori: "Put the Billing section first." It reorders the help center for you.

If it doesn't work

  • "Your app needs the latest Alori version first. Use Upgrade in the menu." Click Upgrade at the top of the preview, then try again.

  • "We couldn't reach your app. Try again in a moment." Wait a moment and open Order again.

  • "That didn't save. Try again." The move was undone. Drag it again.

  • "No articles yet. Write one in your CRM, on the Help center page." Write your first article. See How do I write a help center article?
