How do I translate my articles?

Ask Alori in the chat to translate an article to French or English. The new version is linked to the original and goes live with it. Uses credits.

Updated October 22, 2026

Ask Alori in the chat: "Translate the article 'How do I book a visit?' to French." Alori writes the other language's version, links it to the original, and puts it live when the original is live. Your help center then shows an English / Français switch.

Also called: French version, English version, bilingual, language, traduire, version française, version anglaise, bilingue, langue

Step 1: Ask Alori to translate

In your workspace chat (or Ask Alori in your CRM), ask for the article and the language: "Translate 'How do I book a visit?' to French." To do many at once: "Translate all my help articles to English."

Click: the chat › type › send

Step 2: Check the new version

Alori says it's done, with the new article's address. Open your help center in the preview and pick the other language to read it. To fix a word, open it and click Edit article.

Click: Customers help center › Français

Step 3: Translate again after a change

When you change the original, the translation doesn't change by itself. Ask Alori: "Update the French version of 'How do I book a visit?'." It writes it again from the original, at the same address.

Good to know

  • Collections translate on their own. Each collection is written in every language of your app as soon as you create or rename it.

  • Visitors see their language. Without a language in the address, the help center opens in the visitor's browser language when it has articles in it. /help/fr and /help/en pick one.

  • Want to read it first? Ask for a draft: "Translate it to French as a draft." Then publish it from the drafts at the top of your help center.

  • Credits. Each translation uses credits, like any AI.

  • French translations are written in Québec French.

If it doesn't work

  • Alori says you're out of credits. Add credits, then ask again.

  • Alori says the version already exists. Ask it to update that version instead.

  • The switch doesn't show. It shows once articles exist in both languages.
