How does the deals board work?

Each column of the Deals board is a stage. Drag a card to the next column as the sale moves forward, and click a card to open the deal.

Updated October 22, 2026

The Deals board shows each sale as a card, in a column for its stage: New lead, Contacted, Qualified, Meeting booked, Closing soon, then Won and Lost. Drag a card to the next column as the sale moves forward. Click a card to open the deal.

Also called: pipeline, sales board, kanban, funnel, leads, opportunities, tableau des affaires, pipeline de ventes, entonnoir, prospects, opportunités

Step 1: Open Deals

In the menu, under Sales, click Leads & deals. The top shows your numbers: Leads or New requests, Open value, and Won in 30 days.

Click: Sales › Leads & deals

Step 2: Read a card

Each card shows the deal's name, the owner's initials, where it came from (like Website, Phone or Added), how long ago it came in, and its price tag. Columns under Leads are early requests. Columns under Deals are real sales in progress.

Step 3: Move a deal

Drag the card to another column and let go. A message confirms it, with Undo if you dropped it in the wrong place. Dropping on Won or Lost asks one more thing. See How do I win, lose or move a deal?

Step 4: Switch to the list

At the top right, click List to see every deal in a table. Use the filter to pick Open (or Leads and Deals), Won, Lost or All. With more than one person on the team, click Mine to see only your deals. Click Board to come back.

Click: List › Open, Won, Lost or All

Good to know

  • On a phone, deals show as a list. The board is on a computer.

  • Won and Lost show the last 30 days.

  • Type in Search deals to find a deal on the board.

  • With more than one pipeline, pick it in the menu beside the search. The board opens on the last one you picked.

  • Moving a lead past the last Leads column makes it a deal.

If it doesn't work

  • You can't drag cards. Your role can view deals but not change them.

  • "No deals match your search." Check the spelling, or clear the search box.

  • "Showing matches among the newest deals only. Type a few more letters." Type more of the name.

  • "Nothing here" in a column. No deal is at that stage yet.
