How do I write and edit with AI in a page?
Press Space on an empty line, or select words and click Ask AI. Pick an action or type your own, then Insert or Replace the answer.
Press Space on an empty line to have AI write for you, or select words and click Ask AI to change them. You see the answer first, then you choose to put it in.

Step 1: Write a whole page
On a new, empty page, click Ask AI under Start with. Say what the page is for, like "a winter maintenance checklist", and press Enter. AI writes the page, and its title too when it has none.

Step 2: Write on an empty line
Press Space on an empty line. Pick Continue writing, Summarize, Find action items, Translate or Generate image, or type what you want and press Enter. AI uses the words of the page around it.
Step 3: Change words you selected
Select some words. In the bar above them, click Ask AI. Pick Improve writing, Fix spelling & grammar, Make shorter, Make longer, Simplify language, Make it professional, Make it friendly, Summarize, Find action items, Explain this or Translate, or type your own request.

Step 4: Keep the answer or not
The answer shows in a preview. Click Replace selection (or Insert on an empty line) to put it in, Insert below to keep your words and add it under them, Try again for another answer, or Discard.
Pick the AI model
Next to the box, pick Auto, Claude Opus or Claude Haiku. Bigger models write better and use more credits. Alori remembers your pick on this browser.
Good to know
AI uses Alori credits for each answer. A request you can't make, like on a locked page, costs nothing.
To ask about all your pages at once, click the ✨ at the top of the page: Ask Alori opens and knows which page you have open.
If it doesn't work
"You're out of credits. Add credits to use AI.": the owner adds credits in Alori.
"Too many AI requests right now. Try again in a minute.": wait a moment, then try again.
"AI isn't set up for this app yet.": ask the owner to check the app in Alori.
"AI didn't answer. Try again.": click Try again.
